Radiator flow and fan switch

I've done a lot of searching but I have not been able to locate an answer yet.

I have a Caterham HPC with the injected Vauxhall motor. The person I purchased the car from made some mistakes during assembly which I'm in the process of correcting.

What I would like to know is: Should the radiator be positioned so the fan switch is at the bottom or the top? Also, what is the direction of coolant flow, top hose to engine or bottom hose to engine?

Have you tried blatchat?

Not sure on the VX, but I think flow is top to bottom. And I think the fan switch is at the top (though I can see logic in putting it either end!). But I could be very wrong so worth checking
