Live coverage of qualifying on Eurosport NOW!

Marco Melandri just had a major off after tagging Kurtis Roberts.

Session has been red flag whilst they pick up the pieces.


ETA.
Could have been really nasty but he managed to get off the bike mid gravel trap.

Chaz Davies only 0.5s off Barros on the other D'Antin Ducati. (posted about him in Bike Banter).

First time at Laguna Seca, first time on a MotoGP bike, first time with carbon fibre brakes, first time on Bridgestones. Superb effort clap

Yep, the boy done well... superb effort!!

Hope he has a decent race, but from the sound of it he will find it physically very hard work.

Looks like the only live race being shown is the GP on Sunday night, no 250's or 125's.

250/125 don't go to Laguna, probably due to the ama races there on the same weekend.
