997RS prices....mad
Discussion
Have to agree, 997 RS is an awsome car, much better on track than any 996
Although, yes the price is a bit silly, but I would take the 997 RS over 2x 996's.

Apples and pears in that comparison, 325 and M3 don't share the same engine/gearbox/etc.
As much as I fancied a 997RS, couldn't see the value in paying £100/110k for one, when I sold my Mk2 for £47k and 996RS's are available for £10k more. Not sure what the extra £40/50k is buying but then again these things are not always decided by the head. If you want it, you want it!
For those that have owned both, how you finding the 997RS, after 996RS? How many track miles done in each? Is the 997RS just as much fun/involving, aswell as a little faster (if that is case)? Part of the appeal of the 996GT3 was always it's relative rawness, in road car terms anyway.
Somewhat contradicting the above financial logic, I have ordered a 430 Scuderia instead. <Doh!>
