Hi all, I`m after some more advice please.Well let me start last summer at piston fest, we got there and got the tent up locked the chim up and went for a few drinks ( to keep the cold out, well it was the coldest weekend of the year) when we got back the alarm was going off and had been for quite a while so unlocked it and left it unlocked. ever since the alarm works fine exept the horn does`nt sound. Now i have heard that these tend to let water in and this kills emm but took mine off and it looks fine, I cannot get into it to look inside and know nothing about electrickery so i`m stummped. Do i need to buy a new one or can they be fixed? Do i need to get in touch with carl the alarm man? all advice welcome ,Pete

Yep, Carl will sort you out. He replaced my siren a while ago, and he positioned it to minimise the possibility of water getting into it.

I actually can't remember how much it was... I had a few other things done, re-programmed central unit and 2 new fobs and I remember that it was quite reasonable.

Can't remember the exact figure though, sorry.

I have a feeling the cost I paid was around £90 + some of Carl's time for fitting etc, but that was about a year ago, give him a ring, he'll talk you through the options and will send out the sounder to you if you are not local
