Sealing the headlight pods

Hi all,i'd like to know whats best to use,to seal the perspex cover to the headlight pod?Is it double sided foam trim tape?I didn't want to use sikkaflex as they will be coming apart again soon.

I found the tape was not thick enough to fill all the gaps so I then ran a bead of clear silicone around the edge of the perspex and pod; easier to remove than sikaflex. John.

I used clear silicone sealant too. Just make sure you buy good quality (ie not the cheap stuff from B&Q) or you'll do the job twice.
