How much should the fluid move when you put the clutch all the way in.

Last main job before MOT.

Then just tarting it up, inc dash etc.

Thanks

I shouldn't worry, if you are using standard master and slave cylinders, so long as you have bled the air out and the level is up to, or close to the max mark, then there will be plenty of fluid there to use.

That's not my problem,

Just wanted the see if the piston was working, as It should take some fluid. and should go down a little when you press the clutch.

No it shouldn't !
The fluid in the reservoir, is sealed off from the piston when you start pushing the pedal.
This is how it generates the pressure to push the slave.
The only reason the fluid goes down, is when you are bleeding it, as when fluid has been taken from the slave, it has to be replaced at the master.

Take it from someone who has to bleed the clutch on a Tuscan racer at every meeting

Ok, just checking, as it does not seem to change, maybe 0.01 mm but that may just be the unit rocking. as you can see the stess on the master when pumping.

Thanks for your confirmation.
Fingers crossed it will free with use of the starter.
