My nearside door mirror came off today - just the mirror, not the assembly. Does it matter what glue I use to stick it back on or would any decent contact adhesive suffice?

Cheers,

Are they heated mirrors? If so you need to be aware that the element might melt the glue. Mine are held on by the double sided foam tape used to stick No plates on and similar.

Thanks both, good idea - esp. as I have a couple of feet lying around somewhere. smile

(Don't think they're heated; it's a '92 pre-cat - if they were heated they'll be broken by now. hehe)
