Sport mode question.

Can someone please explain for me; technially speaking what happens to create the extra responsiveness when you press the sport mode button on the 997s?

Depends if you've got sport chrono or not.

Without you get stiffened suspension. With sports chrono also the engine management electronics sharpen up throttle response.

Yep, and PSM is less restrictive
