It is an utter mess here, dealer ok but most of Gloucester is being hit badly by the Severn now flooding-its about 7' higher than usual. No drinking water.
Bristol road being evacuated cos the sewers are bursting!!!!!!!!

But VW Golf's do float.. Certainly the one that floated past me on Friday afternoon was making good progress down the street..

A friend had her BMW MINI flooded last week - only about 6" above the sills but it is fairly likely it'll be written off.

Indeed they don't. I was at Nick Whales in Warwick yesterday and they had a few sitting outside that had been recovered. About 30 in total from what I understand.

I currently work at Unilever Glos and had an interesting drive home on Friday. I have to say I am incredibly impressed with my 1 series, must of gone through 20 floods on friday night. I had water over the bonnet twice! ( stanstead ). I saw a 07 5 series abandoned on the road to Evesham as I zig zagged across the country to get home.

Bonus is i couldnt work today! woohoo
