I'm now on my severalth suspension revision and am generally happy.

However, yesterday, the beetle's chin received even more grazing than normal thanks to some uncompromising psychosis at the helm and more importantly, some rather unyielding compressions in the tarmac being assaulted.

My questions are, how much of a problem is this for the venerable members of the pork forum and is there anything one can do to ameliorate such untimely paint strippage?

I am resolved not to visit Mr. Touch-Up again; I feel a certain 'battle-scarring' might detract from the overall sense of the car's provenance. And I wish to avoid having to tool around in a 'bling' Cayenne muck spreader, too.

It's never once happened to me, are you straightening out the curves by cutting across the pavements F1 style or something

Boxster & M030 'Suspension' & Yorkshire roads & sporadic hooliganism = more scratches than a 5 year olds knee!

You are not alone.

You can get an alloy 'boomerang' that fits under the front lip of the Boxster to stop this kind of annoyance, I don't know about the TT though?

At least you're doing what the god of Porsche meant you to do - DRIVE .

Not a problem when driving on roads, but I do get a lot of front lower spoiler scrapping action when joining roads by traversing pavement/ramps onto roads with a steep road camber. I then note the offending location then traverse the buggers at 45 degress in future travels.

I think my preferred B-road is quite possibly a C, or even D-road then! Bugger!

...And worse still (as was just pointed out to me by my step-father) the plastic inner wings and wind deflectors attached to the bottoms of them are also cracked. There goes another large one to the OPC .

Now repeat after me - 'I am not Stefan Roser, I am not Stefan Roser'

I had the same problem as Jessica before I found that my front tyre pressures were 14 and 21 psi. DOH!

Nope tyre pressures o.k. It's the shitty high bumps they sneak in every fourth one or something that get me ..just a tiny grind..but sodding annoying.. i apreciate we have to have some traffic calming measures, but stuffing yer car for anything over 5MPH is Definatley not on..
