Hi - I've read on this forum that people who have retrofitted a PSE have had no insurance issues. I have to assume that a non Porsche aftermarket exhaust (like a TUBI) does cause insurance premiums to increase? Does anyone have any direct experience of a raised insurance premium caused by an aftermarket exhaust?

Thanks

Does the Tubi exhaust or the aftermarket PSE sound like a wolf howling like the old 996 with PSE used to?

It really does depend on the insurance company. The likes of Direct Line will hike the premium at the smallest modification. Specialist companies and brokers have no issues with exhaust mods.

All - thanks for the replies. Just had confirmation that my insurance premium will not increase as a result of adding the Tubi
system. The 8HP gain is not an issue for the underwriters so I'm very happy about it. To answer cardigan's question, the PSE sounds great but this Tubi system sounds like thunder - it's amazing. Getting it fitted very soon!

BTW - Porsche insurance (Marsh) with Norwich Union underwriting.
