Hi guys

Sounds silly but I thought that waxoil came in black. What colours does it come in. I had my chimaera waxoiled last week and it appears white. The bill says its clear waxoil scratchchinsh it this possible?

I am also unsure of the quality of finish are there any photos on here of a well waxoiled chassis which I can compare with?

NB the powder coating is white, so you could be looking at that through clear waxoil.

The chassis members nearer the engine and other "oily bits" don't lose the powder coating as fast as the outriggers.

Yep that seems right. Although next time i reckon i'll do it my self as I reckon i'd do a more thorough job. (how often should it be done?)

Some do once a year some two,in depends on the conditions you drive in really,it does no arm to retouch some bits in in places occasionally, the aerosol type is good for this.

Yep I was thinking that. Top up every year. Do you still need to prep the surface or just slop it on so to speak
