Monaro sir , hehehe!

Can anyone let me know a dealership near to Newcatle that will service my monaro 5.7?
they are all screaming when I mention the dreaded word MONARO aahhhh!!!!

Depends what you want doing on it mate.. I know a great garage that I take mine to, called Great North Tyres. Where abouts are you? The rest of them, wouldn't waste my time with up here..

I don't know that it is a requirement to have it serviced in a VX garage is there?
It is really weird that there aren't any other places in newcastle itself that sells them.. I had to go to Ediburgh to get a couple of oil filters..

I'm sure one of the dealers in Newcastle is a VXR8/Monaro dealer........listed on Vauxhall VXR8 dealers page on vauxhall website
In Darlington - Sherwoods have become VXR8/Monaro dealer - instead of the muppets in Middlesbrough.

I'm interested in the answer to this too. I had a really helpful letter from the Middlesbrough garage saying they were no longer Monaro dealers. They declined to mention who could service it instead.

Vauxhall must really love this kind of customer service.

Hey Kev, your not that red one that i see in Blyth every now and then? And at 4.30 in the morning one time.

Harry and the boys at Great North Tyres in Gateshead are awesome, for doing just general servicing. I have to take an oil filter along, but have found them really good for other stuff they have done as well.

They are fully Monaro prepared and have two trained specialists, one of which I believe has a Monaro himself, I think he is in sales now though but is in the garage section now and then.

Give them a bell and you should get sorted out, I've heard a few good reports from that place now.
