DB7 Vantage door handle

Im needing to find a supplier that can supply drivers side door handle. It has had a part break inside it so I can't open my door from the outside but can from the inside.

It is and 04 model and has the silver coloured door handles.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm in the midlands however any possible websites are welcome to be suggested.

The part is interchangeable with the other side.

It is a lug that breaks - known fault. The lug is side specific, so exhanging it with the handle from other door will fix the problem (unless a previous owner has already done that!).

Otherwise, I'd have thought most dealers would carry them. Failing that, Chiltern or Puddleduck.

Should take about an hour to replace the parts. Almost any competent shop can do the work for you, it won't need a dealer visit.

I think it's criminal that the "chrome" door handles are plastic. Strangely though the metal ones on my old Jag were a known weakspot as well

Had mine done at Works Service at a cost of £194 + VAT (It was in for a serive at the time)

I think they are the same as those found on the Mazda 626 estate (chrome). I know the rear lights are Mazda 323, and inside door handles from mazda as well, but I seem to remember an interview with Ian Callum who eventually found the handles he wanted on a mazda estate car

My DB7 exterior door handle lug on the inside just broke as they are wont to do. Referring to the old DB7 topic above (if I can get it to show), it was pointed out that the exterior DB7 door handles came from a Mazda station wagon and indeed they are externally totally identical to the 1989 Mazda 323 estate. But does anyone know if they actually fit, internally i.e. if the lug with the round hole on the inside of the Mazda exterior handle (the lug that always breaks on DB7s), is the same diameter as on the DB7. It would be good to know that before starting to scrounge junk yards for old Mazda 323's.

I believe that the door handle was also used on the Ford Fiesta.
