Beer near Solihull 01/01/08

Anyone fancy starting the new month off with a gathering of like minded individuals somewhere near Solihull . On the Solihull/Warwickshire thread it has been suggested that the venue is the Bull at Meriden say about 19:30 ish. I'm willing to make the journey south to join in as I will have left the area by then (hopefully).

I didn't see the suggestion for the Bull, or I'd have piped up but the PH Ladies met there for lunch on Sunday and it seems most of them had 3 of their valve caps pinched whilst they were there.........

Lets hope the weather is good and we can be outside and keep an eye out for the cars. If the weather is wet there will be less kids outside to nick the caps !

Hmm, this could present a problem..

Look for the 4 or 5 people all on their own? do have a pistonheads top could look out for those.

This of course requires getting past the more urgent problem that I don't actually know where the pub is.

Looks like I should be OK for Wednesday, I'll recognise Bob and he should recognise me.. I've chased him around the local roads often enough on the Tuesday drives with Phil.

Chorlton, there is only one main road through Meriden, and the Bull is on it.. Opposite the petrol station and Shirleys Porsche.

Will you have the 997 with you ? I will have the Tuscan so not the car you have usually chased. Will be in new blue and green colours so should be easy to find. I suspect we will be in the car park chatting initially and then off into the pub as it gets colder.
