No I DON'T know when it is. But this is how it should be done...

Location..suggestions welcome

A quality 4 minute video to the great & good (The Nobility) featuring everything best about the M10, M12 & M400 background accompanying music would have to be Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygene part 8. And at the end of the video the new car gradually emerges from the yellow smoke.

Brilliant. cloud9

I'm in the wrong job. Wasted.

And to think that just two days ago I masterminded some of your best shots.

Hmm.

Let's see.....

The AMV8 was "launched" 3 years (2003) before cars started rolling (2006). In that time a lot was changed (so much, I canned my deposit).

They also 'relaunched' the final car, and then still kept people waiting another 5 months before they got it.

R8. Pretty similar story. 'Launced' 2006 with a show of 1 car, deliveries only just started.

Lotus Esprit? 'Launched' 2003. Relaunched 2006. Relaunched 2007. Again in 2008? Deliveries 2010 earliest.

Seems pretty standard to launch a car in this price bracket and take a few years to deliver cars biggrin

It might be a standard thing to do but while Aston did it they have the Vanquish and DB9 for sale, Audi have quite a few other cars to say the least and lotus have the Elise, Exige and now the new track/road car. Noble have nothing for sale which makes their predicament slightly different IMO.

Agreed. However launching a car and then delivering it does seem to have many years between them.

Mind you, as for not having another car, Bugatti, Ascari..... tongue out

JMJ bit is a good suggestion though, although you'd have to pay a license fee!

Must say I have to agree with Barefoot.

Having this gap between launch and release is one thing, but canning all other models that dealers can sell and service 2 years (?) before that launch is not fair on the dealers or the loyal followers IMO!! Why, oh why, didn't they just refresh the clams and interior, do all the mods that "we" descovered and sell the MK2 for the last 18 months............................I don't get it.

Bugatti went bust and do actually still sell cars they are called Volkswagens and Ascari have their own racetrack and hotel/resort that is unbelievable. I have been there with Foggy as Klaus is a big fan of his. We were allowed round the track in Ascaris and had a great time, and his yacht is something else. So bit unrealistic to compare like for like!

My apologies to Klaas for spelling his name wrong, compare this to what Noble are doing at the moment and you will see why there is no comparison!......

My point is that it's standard in the industry for large waits between "launch" and delivery. The Bugatti and Ascari was a bit of fun, hence the smiley....

And my point is that it is not pretty standard in the industry to "launch and wait" when you have nothing else for sale unless you are a new company bringing out your 1st car, and since this is a Noble forum I used them as the exception to the rule unlike the manufacturers Joust quotes when trying to be serious or having fun wink

I don't get it either, and agree with you, why not redesign the front and rear of th M12, and this could be done in a very short time, and have a new mk2 ready in a few months !!

I don't understand why waste such a great product, and let it go while still doing really well in the market....

There is a white Noble, being tested in the Italian car press this month, can't remember the name of the magazine..........will check.

The car I saw 6 months ago, was a dark mettalic grey colour m12, and I have to say it looked fantastic.

A ask as the Italian White one started life as an M12 GTO-3R and ened up as an M400 (all factory legitimate, I might add).
