Is the NGK B7ECS the plug to use? and what plug gap should it be set at. The ones currently fitted are bp6es with 1.3mm gaps.

NGK B7ECS at 0.9mm. There used to be a preference for using some other plugs on the older engines, BP6ES sounds familiar and may be the one, the heat rating isn't far out and I expect it would work about the same as the 7, 0.9mm gap in any case.
