I'll literally cry if you find one, I would love one but the only 1 (!) for sale on carsales.com.au is $75K! (ie around £32k, or more than you guys paid new!)

How about this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2006-VAUXHALL-MONARO-354-BHP...

It's identical to mine which I paid 21k for 2 months ago through Network Q. Damn tempting!

A 6.0 VXR went for £20k a while back. That was a bargain.

Boyce's 5.7 VXR was very good value at £18k too.

I just don't get it, 21k seemed quite reasonable for my 06 model from Network Q. So far in 2 months it's had new front discs and pads, a new gear box and today went in for replacement heater controls for the climate control all under warranty. I'm not moaning but how come the prices vary so much between dealers and private sale. Does this indicate that these great cars will become tomorrow's £500 chav wagon with neons? Discuss.

I would imagine mint stock cars will begin to hold their value well as collectables, seeing as the majority of Ro owners choose to modify them, including me.

Talk to Picador, I have found them to be very, very fair with me, and will I am sure do there best to beat any other "trade in" offer, some others just try to take your pants down and spank your bum by moving the goal posts after the initial offer, Picador offered me 5K more, yes "five thousand pounds" more than one of the other dealers for my 56 plate 6ltr Monaro, so guess who got my business.

They are a very busy dealership, so sometimes you have to be a little patient with them, but I have found them very helpfull and even opened at 7am this morning for me to drop of my VXR8 for the upgrades, mind you the loan car is a little small for middle aged fatties, hint, hint Graham.

Read on here somewhere Wormus, around 870 over the two model years and the earlier VXR seems the rarest!
