Hi guys, potential Monaro owner wondering if there are any local get togethers to have a good nosey round your motors. Contemplating chopping the S2000 in for a fast 4 seater

PS - anyone on here have the red Monaro VXR seen travelling eastbound on the A689 close to Wynyard on (I think) Monday evening about 18:30'ish?? Looked the mutts. Is red the fastest colour then?

Well we are looking at having a pub get together on thursday... in cramlington.

Found out that Bristol Street motors sold the red monaro up here..

Saw that red VXR again last night at about 8pm.... Awesome road presence.

yeah, that red one was bought from Bristol Street motors apparently.. Don't know how they actually managed to sell a car... If it starts with M666*** that is the one I see around all the time, but haven't caught up with them. Must live up that way.. don't know where this W place is.. will have to check it out on the map..

I live in Ingleby Barwick just outside of Yarm.

Hopefully the owner of a red 6.0L VXR next month so I will most certainly be up for meeting up when something is arranged and I have my VXR, fingers crossed.

I own a silver 06 VXR bought in Febuary this year only seen one other Monaro round here, its a 05 CV8 i think and the guy works on Wilton Chemical site.

Greg, haven't forgotten about my offer - but with both the weather and work, hasn't been a good time.

Maybe a north east meet could happen, with Raggyman,jimbo coming down to Chester - le Street, Durham area and maybe if Magicgreg has sorted him self out by then, those in the Yorkshire area coming up. ( there is Johnn22 just outside york aswell). Maybe beggining September so everyone has time to sort it out?

I might be looking for a new motor after some dickhead in an astra sideswiped me on the dual carriageway this morning. Set me spinning across 2 lanes and what looks like rear suspension damage and the whole of the pass side in the S2000.

Theirs a black 06 or 56 6.0 VXR in Hartlepool which see occassionally but does live in the town.

See the Silver 6.0 VXR on the A19 alot, theirs also a blue CV8 that see on the A66 and another Black 6.0 VXR going through preston farm area quite often so should be enough cars around for a meet!
