Soft Top - Would a 350 top fit a 280?

I have a 1986 S2 280i US spec and want to know if a top from a 1985/86 350i S2 would fit. Anyone know? thanks for your help - Gavin

I can't say for certain, but I would have thought so.
I thought the only real difference was engine size.

Should be the same. But every wedge is unique, as is the soft top....

I think even series I and series II are interchangable.

Thanks for the help. I was bidding on a new top on ebay but was out bid. The weakness of the dollar against the pound really sucks at the moment. Makes buying parts out of the UK really expensive. Thanks again - Gavin
