X band yes or no

Hiya I have just replaced my old radar detector with a new one that picks up X band, where I live they have a lot of these electronic boards by the road side that use X band to check your speed and tell you to slow down if you are speeding so I have turned X band off because I dont think the Police use X band on there speed cameras in the UK or am I wrong regards Steve.

I dont think many police use any kind of radar these days. Correct me if I am wrong! It's just Gatsos that still use it and there was even talk of new camera technology that doesn't relie on radar being retro fitted into the classic Gatso boxes.

I seem to remember my old radar detector going off every 5 seconds with K band warnings. It got sold on pretty damn fast

Gatso are K band. very little else uses radar these days
