Been a month now with the Lambo and since have been washing it every few days with a very mild shampoo! Just wondering if you have any opinions on polishes etc! Ive read past threads and it seems zymol is the way forward but there are so many products, how does one choose? Can anyone please advise on how they keep their cars body up to scratch?????? (No swirls please)

Umar,

I've said it on another thread, but she likes Zymol concours.

I tried various things and it was far and away the best she ever looked.

Glad you're enjoying her and she's being looked after.

Seconded with eyes closed. Call Dave for a booking, guaranteed he will do some magic on your Lambo. Nice chap as well (have lots of coffee available...)

Matt is the other side of the Pennines admittedly, but he is Zymöl Europe trained and approved and also advertises on PistonHeads - plus, his work is phenomenal!

why bother paying another persn to do it when you can do it yourself. i learned how to correct swirls and generaly maintain the whole car to a very high standard in a couple of weeks. Plus you get to know your car and find any really minor problems etc...i returned my first mclaren because there was a split in the laquer very minor one on of the doors. Plus for the money you spend paying somone you get a lot of kit for yourself that will let you do it many times over. I quite enjoy cleaning my cars though, if you dont just go over to detailingworld.com and ask for somone from your area...you can check all there previos work on the site also.

May not be needed! Recieved a call today, and i know it may only have been a few weeks but may just be changing cars! Final decision will be known by the morning. Watch this space, its a good 'un wink!
