BNG 2007 - Bigger and Better
Discussion
Plans for the Big Northern Gathering progress well, as all turn to the skies and pray for good weather.
Sat 1st Sept 2007 .
9.30am at York Racecourse starts the BNG for 2007. Gather before driving among a fleet of TVRs through York and onto the main event. 11am -The Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington plays host to this year's BNG.
Hundreds of TVRs will park amongst the static aircraft, lovingly restored from years gone by, whilst a traders' village be positioned centrally.
The itinerary continues to grow with traders being asked to give technical talks throughout the day.
Fast lap tickets have been sold for the track day on the airfield next next door and flights have been arranged, from a nearby airfield. The loudest TVR and concours prizes will be awarded and the day ends with a charity auction on behalf of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Traders on site will be:
Drivestyle HHC - Harrogate TVR dealers and main event sponsors
TVR Power
Ride Drive
Absolutely Shocks
TVRcarparts
RAC
Halfords
Surface and Design
The Polishing Co
TVRCC
We may also have some late entries - Racetech Direct and RTRacing Shefflield, and Pistonheads
All will be donating some valuable prizes to the auction. Many thanks.
Saturday night still (numbers have been extended due to demand) has a few places available for the party in York at La Tasca.
Sunday 2nd Sept sees two drives out head into the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Both drives require bookings and cost £18 p/p including lunch.
Hope to see you all there
