They list at over £700 each new, I have bought 7 VXR 19" rims from 3 sources so I doubt there are any around now, good luck tho, ebay in Oz will probally be a good source but they don't like shipping to UK from experience unless they are new from dealers

There are a few VXR's that may be at breakers at the moment, they may be your best source in the UK.

Has anyone fitted non-Holden wheels to theirs? The yanks seem to have loads of choice. I'd quite like some BBS CHs (not cheap I know!) for mine but I fear they may be special order and need custom machining.

I got some non holden wheels about 2 months ago

These are the same as the Envy MKII wheels available on speedywheels.com.au though I got these from Top Gear in Dorset.

I was told by Top Gear that Team Dynamics manufacture their wheels to whatever PCD/ET/C. Bore you would need so if you like any of the designs in their catalogue/website it may be worth giving them a shout.

BBS can be machined to fit but you would be looking at a lot of money - money I would rather put towards a supercharger.

Regards,

Mark

£1200 is a bargain for VXR wheels. I just bought a set of 19" Clubsport R8 (05 VXR) from JHP. With freight, ins & import tax it came to nearly £1700 (sorry swordfishcoupe - got my maths out by nearly £90!)

I had to go that route as no decent alloys in breakers and Vauxhall can't sell HSV/VXR bits to non HSV/VXR owners. I haven't really seen any aftermarket ones that look as good as the genuine HSV rims imo.

Hi Morgmaloo,

In interest whom is asking £1200 for the HSV 19" wheels. I would be interested at that price.

Cheers
Steven

Hey gents, you may want to check what is available for BMW's. I believe they have the same stud pattern. Rims are much much cheaper here in OZ so you should look here http://www.nvu.com.au/ and you should find some great gear. It may be cheaper to freight them to the UK.

Roger @ Monkfish told me about this company when I upgraded to AP's.

I need a VXR temporary spare (the full 18" alloy won't fit into the boot properly) and they look reasonable. I haven't approached my local vx dealer yet to see if they'll supply me with one. VXR or not, it's surely a safety issue.

But, having said that, my current CV8 spare looks exactly like this VZ GTO spare I'm considering:
