993 Has Gone

After nearly seven years of ownership my 993 has gone. I am still unsure whether I should have sold it, but its too late now.

It was sold via PH`s to a nice chap that posts on here, so I hope that he gets to use it far more than I had the time to do. I spent a small fortune on the RS look, the big reds and setting it up but never got it to the track!

I am not sure what pork comes next, thought about possibly a GT3 MK 11 but I think I will take my time and look around.

Meanwhile, I will keep lurking...

My comiserations David, there will never be a car like it again will there.

It's a shame as time marches on healthy and tight 993's are becoming rarer and rarer.

I hope your next 911 gives you the same thrills.

GT3 MK 2,now thats a good idea. Police car magnet, yellow is my favorite....

David I think I have seen your car about,if it is the same 993,you finally made my mind up to go for yellow,I was driving on the m4 one morning and you passed me and that was it....Ta.

Pete, great choice of both car and the colour. Please dont bring your car anywhere near Ascot or Windsor...I want one!

It was you ,you came off at windsor junction one sunday am,I was contemplating colours while driving along then you appeared in rear mirror,that was the decision moment.I'm quite often in Ascot,sorry, used to work and live in Sunningdale so go there a lot

I sold my 993 last year Dave and replaced it with a mk2 GT3 in January this year....Absolutley no regrets whatsoever, get one, you will wonder why it took you so long.....

Pete, probably was me, often went out for a blast on Sundays. Car was allways kept clean so SY looks the business with the RS Aerokit!

I am glad that it helped you make the decision, I would choose the colour again...No problem!

Just what I wanted to hear C2`S`man...Thanks, I am going to start looking after a much needed holiday.

It was a real wrench to sell the 993, never though I could go through with it!

I had to sell my 965 turbo 2 a few years ago it was mint colbolt blue only 25k miles on it,I was gutted,now its worth more than I sold it for,but the money went into finishing my house,so when the house was sold it owed me a 911 plus interest,which equals GT3......wish I had both though.
