After the veneer started peeling off my dash it was sent in the post to be re-veneered. It was posted on 16 July and arrived yesterday - 10 days in the post! It can't be reveneered in time so they've mackled a fix up and sent it back via TNT. If it doesn't arrive by lunchtime I won't make wedgefest in the SX again!! I've moaned to the post office who are wittering on about possibly £10.00 compensation. Looks like TNT/DHL from this point on!

Sorry to hear it bud, but you can still drive the thing with no dash veneer - right?
Sure - the interior may not look as pretty but you'll still have a great day out.
come anyway and party

I have totally stripped the interior of mine and will be modeling the new 'Raw glass fibre' look complete with marker pen notes and names of various people I have found. It may even go faster !!

When I took mine out last year for the paint, I thought the stripped out look was quite good, and the lines without the hood on were a lot better.

Thought of just putting ali sheeting over the back and parcel shelf, but the dogs would roll off smile

I drove my 350i for about 3 months with no dash veneer! Go for it Jasper!

What style is your dash - is it a 350i long thin style or a 400SE style? If the former then I could lend you a veneer panel for the day, in case you're worried about the timeline.

Dash panel arrived at 10.00am in Stourbridge - covered in louche velour as a temporary fix - very nightclub! On train at 11.45 - arrived at 3.00 car home by 5.30 - It's done 80,000 miles but I still love it!!
