URGENT: Driver's window wiring
Discussion
Hi all,
Anyone got bible to hand? Drove to work today and my driver's window won't go back up. Most of the wires in the door loom are a little iffy so I suspect this is another one that's gone.
I'll hot-wire it directly from the battery but I could do with working out which wires are for the window so that I can check if it's getting power.
Also, same fuse for both windows? Passenger one works fine.
Cheers,
Ian A.

Hi Ian,
dismount the speaker at the non-working-windows side and take a look at the plug which leads to the winding mechanism from the window switch. its a rectangled plug made of soft plastic some centimeters within the door from the speakers hole position. you can hardly see it, better try to feel it with your hands. have had the same problem permanently with mine on the drivers side till i fixed it with some glue.
hope that that was your prob.
kind regards
LL
