I think it's about 2.5K Adam.

A client of ours ordered it here. Cost him 40,000 South African Rand.

Yeah, white paint is really expensive stuff. Especially that white PORSCHE paint.

I think it is nuts that Porsche can charg so much for a plain colour which really is the proper colour for an RS and should have been offered as standard.

Dont you love supply and demand economics....

Give the people a teaser of something for free...and then make them pay through the nose for what they really want!

or maybe they just dont want people to get confused between their 996's and 997's?

Haggle (and get your OPC to chip in) and it's £2k.

I'm probably being incredibly dense here but still not really with you. I spec'd all white, ie no decals so just find a pic. of a car and imagine it white, instead of whatever colour it is, with a few bits black - front lower spoiler, bonnet vent, lower sills, rear spoiler etc. and there you go. As it's a special colour (ha ha) you can of course go for any variations you fancy.

yup

go for a shit at an opc whilst your car is being serviced and the bill will show an "enviromental disposal charge"

I'll be controversial here and suggest that the buggeration to the production line is worth at least £2k.

Though I do find it irritating that colours that were once standard become 'special colours', but there may be a perfectly rational justification if anyone knows it.

aha!

I thought it was like the black/orange cars where the body work is black and certain pasts such as the spoiler end plates and mirrors are orange

never knew white was special order

does that mean the cup cars have a premium of £2.5k for white too?
