Rockingham, Chimfest and beyond

Mods, I've asked PetrolTed about posting this thread and he says it's ok "if I'm subtle" so please don't delete it, I'm being as subtle as possible!
Folk's it's come to that stage where I need to put out a Challenge Anneka style request out to folks. With a week to go before the Rockingham 60th Celebrations the Chimaera racer is currently languishing in pieces. The long and short of it is I need £750 to get the car out there. Broken down into
Engine parts £182 (£155+vat)
Windscreen £165(£140+vat)
Testing £150
Race Entries £275
That's all very well, but I'm not a charity, you need something in return for you're sponsorship. I can't offer you multi-million pound motor homes to bring your corporate guests to, however I can guarantee the Chimaera, being the only Chimaera in the Tuscan Challenge series, will be noticed and along with it your company (or indeed individual) details. The racing at Rockingham will be filmed live, and broadcast on 'Sky Sports 2' in 6 x 30 minute programmes, in addition to the 4000 people who will be attending the Diamond Rock event itself. The Chimaera will also be on display at Chimfest the weekend following the Rockingham events, and I will keep the sponsorship on the car and my website throughout 2008 where I am looking to race the Chimaera in both the Tuscan Challenge and the BARC NW Sports and Saloons series.
The critical items are the engine parts, in order for my to have time to put the engine back together, probably the latest is Monday lunchtime. If anyone can offer sponsorship in part or in whole please contact me direct at info@chassis33.co.uk
