I live in bucks and yesterday went past a scamera van ( thanks Mr Mondeo for the warning ), the question is I thought most of the vans were operated by Civilians (like traffic wardens) but the van had police plastered down the side, does this mean it has police inside and not paid informers ?

I've seem police scamera vans. Is this the one that was on the M40 yesterday?

No It was on a local road in High Wycombe.
Properly the same van getting as much cash as possible.
