Not the most exciting topic I know, but I dont suppose anyone knows where I could source a new PAS reservoir cap? Is it taken from another car? Part no. anyone?

Well, I guess its not exactly common for owners to stand on them and break them. curse

From memory its a ZF part, so maybe a Merc dealer? its not under pressure, so you could use a universal cap, such as you get for petrol caps.

I reckon the cap off an E-36 3-series would fit it.

Worth a try if you know anyone with one.

I've got a mate with an m coupe, so I'll give him a try, though from my memory of the e36's I've owned, I dont think they look the same. The pas cap is an a total are of a place on an s50 engine too...joy!

Mk3 Vauxhall cavalier any model as long as it as PAS,had a 318i 8 valve beemer in today circa 1999 E39 looks the same.

Yep or Land Rover. Very common PAS tank.
