Good news for TVR

Browsing through the Sunday Times Business section and noticed big article on TVR and the company profits.

It claims that TVR have made profits of £400,000 this year compaired to a 1.5million loss last year.

Good news all round !

Yep, spotted that one too - and just think there were plenty of people that had written the company off because of late filing of the reports to companies house....

Just goes to show that jumping to conclusions isnt necessarily the right thing to do.

Actually it was last year's accounts, the ones with the £1.5m loss which were filed late. They were filed with Companies House at the same time as the 2002 accounts which show a profit.

You might say they have managed the news rather well - delaying the news of the loss until they could talk about the profit.

I'd feel happier if they started generating cash rather than using it, but as long as they keep going I don't care. (Hint - I like TVRs).
