cats help

my tamora been the decatted fire breathing monster that it is, has decided to fail its mot on emishions...nice.
the bad news is the MAN says it needs its cats putting back in, but the bad news is im looking at £450 each !!!
is this right ?
is there any other road of action i can take ?
and can sombody lend me a tenner

Any good indy, like dulfords, will have a pair of cats to put in for an MOT. its not a long job to swap them around.

Sorry no help, but did the de-cats make much difference to the performance? Good luck with the MOT.

bought it with the de cats. but the sound is amazing act exhaust . a must, if i cat it im going to de cat it strait after.
mite ring act see if they can help ...... what about a chip ?

Pity your not in the North West. I've just made a pair of cats for when mine and the wifes decatted Tivs go for MOT. I'm looking for some one to put them on their car just to try them out. The actual cat element is slightly smaller in diameter and not quite as long as he standard element but I have made them to fit the speed 6 manifolds. They should pass an MOT but as I only made them today, I've not had chance to try them.

well the guy said see him monday and he will take a deposite and find some cats but now im thinking i could save a fortune by finding a alternitive.
