Pictures of the Wortec CAI install on 05 CV8 for those who are interested. (Didn't dismantle it to show the cone filter inside)

Forgive me if it's a dumb question - where does the cold air enter?

Um, a fair bit = £399 iirc (invoice safley filed somewhere). tbh, it looks good and it might help towards gaining 'perhaps' 2-4bhp but it does seem a tad expensive when you look at it. I'm sure others will have varying views on it.

I was having the Performance Pac fitted at the time, so I thought I might as well have this done while we were at it.

Paul H - sorry! You have to laugh, they said Wales would get wetter with 'Global Warming' or 'Climate Change' but we seem to be having the better weather at the mo. Been good driving weather here for a couple days. Shades on, windows down and exhaust switched to loud....

Makes a huge difference with the Supercharger. Makes it really howl (as if it was not noisy enough)

A very simple one! The wifes Kodak Easyshare C643. I think it's a 6 megapixel capacity. My usual weapon of choice is my Canon EOS 350D but our Jack Russell puppy has helped himself to the battery charger and now there is bugger all left to charge it!

Amazing how something so simple can sometimes do a better job than the more expensive/technical gizmos.

Totally.

I believe that it helps keep the overall engine/supercharger cooler as more air goes through. Power seems to be more consistent with little drop off from heat.

It is at least twice the size allowing more air in.

My only observation would be that I`d expect the heat shield to have been reflective rather than heat absorbent.

Looks neat, but afraid I can`t confirm Alans glowing praise as i`m non intercooled so am having subtle charge cooling problems with this rather strange weather we are having at the moment.
