CAD drawing of Ultima?
Discussion
The only way I can see that you're going to do that is to buy a chasis from Ultima, then CAD it yourself. Ultima aren't going to be daft enough to give drawings of their chasis to some random guy.
The only other way is if you know somebody who has justtaken delivery of a kit, and will let you measure it before he gets going on it. It won't take too long to do, as it's pretty much all straight bits.

Hi Mikael
I was also interested to find more info on the GTR chassis so I made stiffness measurments of the frame
and added braces where it was flexing the most.
The stiffness was improved from 3300 ft lb/deg
to 9500 ft lb/deg. All this is outlined, step by step,
at www.ultimav12.ca
I hope the info is helpful

I already have a GTR from Ultima (delivered jan 2003). I would never dream of making a Ultima chassi copy, I just want to steangthen mine a bit to make the suspension work better. A stiffer chassi will make suspension tuning alot easier.
It's a shame you didn't think of it before you put it all together then
In which case, you'll have to find somebody who has just bought a kit, and go and measure theirs before the build it.
I know you don't want to copy the chasis, and you know that you don't want to copy the chasis. But does the factory want to have a CAD drawing of their chasis flying round where it might be seen by somebody who does want to copy the chasis? I doubt it.

Coolt, if it's to heavy for an e-mail then how can I get it? Can you burn it on to a CD?
