Why does the "search since" drop down keep changing?

It seems to be different each time I've used it. Sometimes it gives the options of 30 days, 1 month, 1 year and 2 years, next it's 30 days, 3 months, 6 months and 2 years.

Is it a bug or is it being changed manually?


If it's any use I prefer 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, 2 years. Although it might be useful to put 1 year in there as well.

I would also like to see the option to search back further, ie back to the begining... Is there a technical reason this can't be done?

Not sure why the search period keeps changing, will have a look into it.

We have limited searching to 2 years to speed up the search function as it was taking forever when searching through the whole history.

There is the possibility of adding a seperate search which searches all the years of PH which will be a much slower search, we have been looking into the feasability of this, but is currently lower down in the priority list.
