Having to let her go and is currently for sale on PH. Also considering trade in but am aware of the lower offer to be expected. Does anyone have any good experience with a trade in or do you just have to be prepared to be lubed up and violated on the price? Which car company may be best to deal with?
Cheers.

When I went to trade mine in once (had a moment of madness) the landrover garage refused to take it.

No experience of trading a Chim (not long had mine)... But I know that Fernies take Chims and will travel to collect. They get a few of their cars from franchise garages (Audi, BMW, etc...) who call them for a price and to move them on. Worth giving Simon a call - he'll be able to give you a price over the phone.

I traded my one in when buying a Landrover disco as I needed to do it quick as I was also in the process of trading my wife in (divorce) and I think Offord motor co bought it from the garage. www.offord.com/abouttvr.htm
They offer on their website to purchase them and so does James Agger.www.jamesagger.com/contact_us/emailsent.asp
Private sale will get the best result though.. also try ebay as they often get good money on there.
I would hang it out and sell on ebay with a starting price that your happy to take and also advertise it on here (but there are loads at the moment on here). Always remember a garage will need to put a margin on the price and also some internal costs for pdi and anything else so hang in there and sell it yourself and get the money its worth as you'll be sick if you sell to a garage and see it advertised for 3k more than you sold it for.. It depends how quick you want the sale... quick sale low money...

One last place is in the TVRCC sprint mag.

Good Luck
