Just received my new extended pedals including the throttle arm and have read the instructions.
It seems a bit fiddly but doable. I'm of reasonable ability but no mechanic. I feel I should be able to do this job no problems.
Any comments or advice would be great. Thinking about doing it this evening and should have 2-3 hours of day light after work which I think should give me plenty of time.

I did this on Saturday, or rather my neighbour did because I wasn't supple enough to far enough into the footwell. It took the two of us, with me interpretting the instructions and him doing the spanner work, about two and a half hours. It is extremely awkward to get at some of the fastenings and we found getting the throttle cable out of the crimped end of the old throttle arm very hard (nearly gave up!). The end result is excellent which much improved feel through the pedals, and can now get the throttle all the way down without having to stretch.
Good luck....with patience and perserverance you'll get there!

Give the job to Fernhurst. They did ours last week. Edited to add: They also swapped the throttle cable under warranty while they were down there. Nice chaps!
The extenders are great, BTW - I find it much easier to drive now that I can actually reach the pedals without having the seat back set at 90 degrees to the seat base.

It's a fiddly but easy job. The awkward bits I found were releasing the throttle cable and removing the old accelerator pedal. I'll drop you a line through profile later.
Cheers,
Steve
Short
My wife (short ginger person of 4ft 11") fitted them at the weekend.
I could not fit in ver comfortably and she is better at DIY than Me!
Took about 4hrs. Excellent!
If she can do it, you can!

PS To be totaly comfortable she still needs 2 pillows behind or the seat back from TVR!

Do the leven pedals improve leg room at all (even just a little) as I find it not quite roomy enough (I'm 6' 3" with size 13 feet). I have to wear very thin soled shoes and if I forget I normally drive shoeless on my clutch foot (i can then hook it under the clutch). Do these pedals improve matters at all!!
Just a thought - although it's taken me 4 years to enquire about it
