I wish to get my Sister and her Husband something which will hopefully improve their observation / driving skills. I am of the belief (brother in-law especially) that they drive blissfully aware of the hazards around them. The pair are high mileage drivers and both have had numerous “incidents” both their fault and 3rd parties.

They have a lotus for fun days out and he seems content to drive like he’s on a race track all the time (whether in the lotus or not). My sister has told me this concerns her.

I choose not to be their passenger when I visit, although this is difficult now as they have a baby which means they have to take their car for all the associated crap that goes with a child. It saddens me to report their driving style has not changed any with this addition behind them.

I have never had any “further education” myself, other than annual driving assessments through my work, but had the benefit of learning from a father who did. As such I would like to do something alongside them to see which areas I can improve on too.

Any thoughts, comments and suggestions gratefully received (Glasgow area)
