Does anyone know what glue i can use to stick down a small part of my wiper housing ie, the part of bodywork thats near the bonnet vents and gets hot - hence i'm assuming a normal household glue such as evostick or UHU won't tolerate the heat. confused

If its the bit I'm thinking of its not guled down it's just held down by two bolts. Try and post a pic.

Can you see the bit you are talking about in this picture?

If not, is it the bit removed for the photo?

Scuttle panel doesnt 'stick/glue' down at all!...should have a couple of slots nearest windscreen edge of the scuttle panel that hold it in place by pushing backwards, over the fixed bulkhead/screen panel, towards screen and then some allen bolts to fix in place either side of inner wing. I would recommend you sqeeze a little silcon around the the holes where the threads are for the allen bolts as you refix, to stop water running through here and working its way into the car footwells...

These are the bolts that hold it in place

As for the silicone idea, I'd prefer to use grease or Vaseline as silicone will cause your bolts to rust very soon if they are mild steel ones.
