A big thanks to Mad Mark
Discussion
After months of trouble with the clutch on the Cerb,i decided to call on the services of Mad Mark. The plan originally was to try and fit a new clutch myself. But this time of the year im normally booked with events for the military.Plus the fact that after he sent me the info i was a bit put off by how involved it was.Anyway with Fighting Torque looming closer, and a shortage of clutch material at Clevor Trevor, the plans for the Cerb were looking dire.I ordered a new slave from CT,even though a new one was fitted last year,we didnt know what the problem was until the gearbox had been stripped down.Phoned Mark on Monday to ask if he wanted to do the job,and he said he will take it on.The only problem was i didnt have a clutch to fit as CT didnt have any.Mark had a second hand one i could have to get me out of trouble.Dropped the car off to him on Thursday.By Friday night he had told me that the clutch had lost three fingers,as suspected by him and a few others on here in my earlier posts.Any way picked the car up last night with new slave and clutch fitted and its the best its been in all the time ive had it.The pedal action now is feather light, where as before it was like a bear trap.To cap it all Marks enthusiastic other half Tracey had even taken photos of the car during the day along side Marks,so i should be getting that on CD.I swear the car came back cleaner as well.Did one of you wash it?.Anyway thanks once again mate a job well done
.Now i can enjoy driving it again.Just need an enthusiastic wife to go with it

Thanks Mark, no worries
She had been saying all weekend that she was going to wash it, but it ended up being me that did the washing.
Tracey did however do the wheels and later some bird poop that bombarded the boot! LOL
Thanks for the comment Tim
(your not after your clutch being done as well are you?

markwas a pleasure to have your cerb in the garden, it was filthy when you brought it down and I was so looking forward to washing it, but Mark did get there first
like he said though I did the wheels and went over it again when a bird dropped his insides all over it.glad to hear it drove well and I could hear you pulling out the top of the road and for ages afterwards
