Kent Convoy to Fighting Torque

[Olly]

As the Essex thread is starting to form, I thought I'd make an attempt at rousing all us Kent/Sussex lot.

I'm heading up from Ashford
TT_Tim will be coming from Ashford (either in my car as passenger or driving his) (I don't think he trusts me !)
Toadusmodus is coming up from Tunbridge Wells

So I was going to suggest congregating at the Dartford Hilton, for an assault on the Tunnel..... (here)

Meet at 06:15 to leave by 6:30 to then go & join the Essex lot ?

[Toadusmodus]

Yup, I'll be there Olly.

[Olly]

Well, thats 2 of us - thats enough for a convoy already !

[BLUETHUNDER]

Me too,as this is the usual meeting place.

[Olly]

Will be good to see you again Mark !

But is this really it ?????

Looks like your answer is here... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

[Olly]

I just found that too !

Thanks mate

[BLUETHUNDER]

Surely there must be more than us three coming from South London and Kent?

[tbdgriff500]

can i tag along if you don't mind a griff in your cerb convoy

[Olly]

Only if you promise to take it easy in the tunnels !

The more (TVR's) the merrier !

[Olly]

BUMP - as we're getting closer.....

I'm leaving Ashford at 05:00, so should be at the Hilton by 5:45.

I'll be armed with TC's mobile number, so we should have no problems joining the larger convoy when we leave.

But please remember, there will be people sleeping in the Hilton

[BLUETHUNDER]

What time is the departure from Hilton?

[FUBAR]

Olly, Im meeting up at Clacketts Lane, maybe a spot of breakfast (well, you have to dont you!) and then if the timing Gods are smiling on me, I may get another one in at the A12/M25/Little Chef stop

May need to stop for a dump somewhere

Arrhh you disgusting f**k

[katman]

5.45 at the Hilton seems a little early to me, not scared of an early one but I do like my sleep, especially on a Sunday? How long do think it will take to drive up there?

I am coming from Sidcup and my mate in a 996 from Sevenoaks

[Olly]

We're aiming to leave the Hilton at 06:15-06:30.

I'm just paranoid about being late !

[FUBAR]

Olly, I'll be swinging by the Dartford Hilton on my way through as that's where Im picking up my co pilot, so see you there around 6.15

If you see an odd looking short fellah going by the name of Dogsey hanging around, give him a kick in the shins whilst you wait

[Olly]

No probs !

See you bright & early on Sunday !
