In Sheffield area...

Richard Thorpe (RT Racing) is well known in TVR circles, and their services are on par with other large independants.

You could always ring up TCS - Track Car Solutions (cerbera specialist and tuner) and see if they'd be willing to service? though they specialise in tuning modifications etc primarily, guess you could always try buying some sort of performance upgrade from them and kindly ask for a service too, might work... wink

RT Racing have looked after my TVRs over the years and I'd recommend them and continue to use them.

I've known RT for several years. They look after my wedge. He's always been fair as far as I am concerned. Just recently I had a suspension bush go weird on the rear of my wedge, RT had fitted them a few years previously (yes, years!) and when I took it in, Richard replaced the offending item Free Of Charge (it was a couple of hours work) cos he didn't think it should have failed.
You can't say fairer than that.
You can stand your spoon up in the tea, and if you're looking for that touchy feely main dealer yes sir no sir bit then you won't get it here!

But, his workshop, if a little chaotic at times is always full of wedges, chims, griffs, cerbs, tuscans, plus a few outrageous racing type beasties! I don't think he'd be that busy if he wasn't good at what he did.

Another vote for Richard at RT, just picked my Cerb up from service, new springs and shocks and leads and plenty of tlc. Charged me less than quoted, as it didn't take as long as he thought.

Also offered to fit a sports exhaust and let me run with it for a couple of weeks. If I like it go back and pay for it. If not he'll put my original one back on and not charge me a penny.

Always had good service and reasonable costs.
