costco. £20 plus vat for 4 litres.

I've had decent service from this german online supplier when buying oil for my M5. I note they also do mobil 1.

Go on a booze run to Calais+100 miles, spend the night somewhere nice, eat some nice food, have a nice drive, pick up your oil and some Cheese, Leffe and Pelforth for when you get back and you'll be glad you did smile

I buy diesel mobil 1 for the family stinkwheels that way and last time I got 5 litres (not four) + a little two litre jobby *free* for about 33euros a pop. Picked up half a dozen packs and that's me sorted for servicing and topups for about the next 3 years.

Why on earth would you buy in England and give Brown half the money to waste?

edb racing's picture of the Mobil 1 15w-50 bottle looks different from what's generally available in the UK; it has a red cap vs the usual gold cap. Not sure what that means, if anything.

Gold top is full cream, the green top is semi-skimmed but not sure about the red top.

(BTW I found a local bloke on ebay selling for £5 per litre. Also top up when doing le mans runs)

It is a picture of a US market 1 quart bottle rather then UK market packaging

That would explain the much lower price for 15w-50 rather then the usual £9/litre.

The US 15w-50 formulation has changed once if not twice recently and some people say it isn't as good as it used to be, whatever that means.
