What are peoples thoughts on this?
IMHO: Monaro is crap for this kind of event. Too heavy and has skinny wheels. Then again it is 3/4 of a mile and you will get some speed up by then...
Race logic will help but it is still 1700kg.

This is what the `ro` does best, mid range speed is awesome.

Mmmmmm one week before before I take the Monaro down to Italy, you do pick your times Russ, my misses will be livid if i drop another clutch and have to come home in a 1 ltr euro box and the car on a flatbed.

Still besides that I am supposed to be grown up now
Thanks for the invite though, I am sure there are a couple of guys on here that will give you a run for your money, but saying that my old cerb was well quick and in a straight hammer down fight she would eat anything in sight !!!!!Nice to see you on this forum and if you have followed any of the threads you will see that I have swaped one TVR for another, Mmmmmmmm

I am signed up for it. Then realised that its near bloody Ipswich - never mind.
Going to take a small power pill, booked in with Picadors on Thursday next with Paul doing the tune.
160 at 3/4 mile - suits me.
Apparently we can put down our 'dream' cars to run against.
What do you think, I fancy tinker27's ls2 based RX7 (thou he will beat me), an M5 and maybe the viper?

Holly Crap guys, have you seen what some of the guys are turning up in!!!!! just had a look on the Cerbera forum and there are some serious contenders out there.
While the Misses said no to the Monaro going out she didn't say anything about the RX7 he he he, so that's a maybe. Unless it is going to be hot weekend and the thought of a barbie and few beers might tempt me into the garden.
Talking of which, is splatspeeds barbie still on ?
