How simple is it to just pop off old air box and filter and replace with cone? Green or the like?

Do i really need to faff about with forced induction hoses ?

Very easy job. I changed to a K&N one. It took about 20 minutes and a screwdriver. I can't say I noticed any particular difference in peformance (have been quoted 2-3 bhp) I did it more because I like the idea of my engine breathing nice clean air. Oddly enough when I got the service done last time they changed the oil and cleaned the filter at the same time. It was deffinatly more responsive after. Greens (sp?) also make good filters.
