For info, 07074 and 07075 numbers are NOT mobile numbers but business or so called revenue generating numbers. They usually cost most than premimum rate numbers!

Thats where that scam is.

I got suckered myself with one of these numbers a couple of months ago. It was a missed call on my mobile. I saw the numebr was 07.... and assumed it was a mobile. I rang it and got a ring tone like I was calling abroad. I then hung up. It wasn't until I got my phone bill in that I realised that I'd been charged £5 for a 10 second call!!!

My reply to him this morning hehe

Patrick thats a really nice thing to do for your father, I wish I knew who
mine was, I will be glad to help all I can, we have one minor problem, I
belong to a group known as 'Wedgers Association North Kensington' this group
was set up to promote and protect these very rare cars and offers a help
line, parts finder and regular meetings. Members include Nigel Munsall,
Emerson Putapeldee, Steve Gandalf, Nora Batty, Steve McKing and Jezzer. We
all agree when we join to only ever sell these very rare cars to people
within the association, this means that both you and your dad will need to
join, this is not a big problem as I know the king and can get this done for
you in only a few hours. I will need a photo of both you and your dad for
the ID cards and the fee of £86.50 each. please hurry and send these things
and I can crack on with getting it done. you can send the money by paypal to
my email address.
I have polished the car and it is all ready to go, as soon as you are a
member we can get the details sorted and you dad can have his gift, and I
can buy my Cerbera.
Please Hurry
regards

Yeah, I agree, I just checked this out online. It seems that OfCom have been naughty boys here, this is probably why they're getting rid of all the personal numbers soon.
