I know it's only a small detail mod.......but at least it's a start!
Ordered the small rear spoiler (the same one that devilYellow and swordfishcoupe have) from JHP a few months back but due to the RAF sending me out to a very sandy place, haven't been able to put it on yet. But after a phonecall from the garage telling me it's painted and ready to go, I'll be having it fitted on Thursday.
Before and after pictures will be put up shortly.......not sure if anyone with an 04 CV8 has the JHP spoiler? Could I be the only one?

I'd like to see that too. I also have 04 CV8 and been considering a rear spoiler for a while, be good to see yours.

Prices are pretty good too.....200 quid for the spoiler including shipping. And he's quoted me about 120 quid for the work to be done (Including filling in a stupid 'talon' logo right in the middle of it)

Look forward to seeing it. It really is a nice little mod without going over the top. You'll soon be joining an exclusive little 'spoiler' club.

Yeah, really sets it off... but one thing you might also want to invest in, is the rear window spoiler... Makes it look even more special.

Hi Raggyman,

Thanks for posting those pictures. That was one thing I originally wanted to do, I must admit though I always thought they just covered the black area on the window and not the rear of the roof itself. Was your factory fit or one you upgraded to ??

Many Thanks
Steven

Factory fitted as far as I know... Yeah, I think it really sets the car off. Especially that and the rear spoiler, I think work great in combination.
I think island boy was going to fit one to his car as well, not sure as haven't seen his baby for ages..

Is that bootlid spoiler the standard VXR issue or different one?

(I've just been quoted £1000 to have a VXR spoiler fitted to a CV8 frown )

Mine is a bit of a special bread. It was a limited edition but think that it is the same as the VXR, could be wrong. £1000 is a bit of a rip off for a bit of plastic. Often thought about learning how to do fibre glassing. Think it would be awesome to get the new VE and make it look like the front of a V8 supercar.

Some cars have moved in the car park, so here are some more photos for ya's.
First time I have used the camera on the phone, very impressed with the quality of these photos..

That roof spoiler looks great with the HSV kit (as it was designed for) but I don't think it would look as good with the JHP spoiler (too thin and not as flat a profile as the HSV 3 piece). There is a pic on the GTO forums of an Odyssey with HSv roof spoiler and the JHP boot one and it doesn't seem to flow as well. Perhaps I'm wrong?
