Megahoon Is Waiting For You

And there are only a few places left!

Beware: Cows
Beware: Cows
Ever fancied going on the Megahoon? Because there are still a limited number of places left on the trip, so you need to book soon.

The Megahoon will be leaving on August 30th, for ten days of exciting and entertaining er, hooning, following a route that encompasses a large chunk of Spain and Portugal, and will take you through some of the most beautiful scenery and challenging roads that Europe has to offer.

We’ll be visiting places like: Rioja, Trujillo and Leon and taking in the scenery and (in one case) empty roads on the way.

Roads like this will feature heavily
Roads like this will feature heavily

Each night you’ll be staying in a 4 star hotel, each set in a stunning town bathed in history (and with some great roads leading up to them, too).

So if you like the sound of blasting along some of the best roads in Europe and staying in some very exotic places go to www.eurohoon.com and sign up. It’ll be awesome!

Best holiday ever - I missed out last year but there's no way I'm losing out this time - brilliant fun, great driving, fantastic hotels and best of all, absolutely superb company from a like-minded bunch of petrolheads. Do it!

Three years I've been trying to get the time to go. Work gets in the way, still only 3 years to go and I'll have all the time in the world to hoon.

Any car you want! A Corrado VR6 went along a couple of years ago. Don't be put off by all the flash machinery, it's not a high speed thrash - more an enjoyable drive on twisties, so handling is more important than VMax. Anyway, there's a few TVRs going, so there'll be lots of opportunities to stop and admire the scenery/catch up, whilst waiting for the tow truck! hehe

Seriously though, the cars always split into groups, and some go fast, some go a bit slower. It's not a Cannonball wit run.

Hi, Nubbin. Your quote regarding the Cannonball Run is rather mis-lead to say the least. This years Cannonball Run Europe was one of the most successfull ever. With our completely revised driving policy & the route centering on driving roads for driving enthusiasts. This years our drivers took on the Hungaroring on a beautiful Budapest day, cars included TVR, Aerial Atom, Nobel, AMV8 aswell as a number of porsches, ferraris & american muscle.

We stayed at amazing 5* hotels & partied & some wonderful clubs. I can understand why some people may want to do the Haymarket Hoons but there are other runs out there that need to be considered before you slag them off.

See www.cannonballruneurope.co.uk to see what a brilliant time we had this year.

You better believe it ... she's only gone and said yes!

Now ... it is down to whether the car will be ready or not ... and a slight problem of getting her new season product brochure to print before I would need to go.

Bloody hell, what a predicament scratchchin

Not that easy Daz I'm afraid. Michael is working flat out on it as we speak but the, somewhat expected, reply to my text this morning asking if I am tempting fate by taking the car straight from rebuild to a 2,000 mile Hoon across Spain was:

"depends how long the car has to bed in and settle down. So many systems on these cars! Still lots to do. Wouldn't want you to book a place and not have the car ready."

Can't say fairer than that really so I think it is a case of missing the proverbial boat ... still ... nice to know my wife is once more proven to be officially the best wife in the whole world yes

Best go and brief her brochure in now I guess!

Have emailed Nick to see what is the latest date that he can add cars to the booking.

scratchchin Fraid not Duncan, as my last post ... it's looking as if the car will not be rebuilt and fully roadtested and bedded in in time frown
