good wheel balancing tyre shop near rickmansworth

Hi all,

Im looking for a good shop to rebalance the tyres on my 840. I'd appreciate any recommendations as there are so many monkeys working in these places.

If you can make it to Hemel then Discount Tyres & Exhausts are excellent for all things tyres.

They are generally well regarded, I've used them a few times for fitting and 3D geometry checks and adjustments (they have a Hunter alignment machine).

Failing that i'd recommend Central Tyre in Hazlemere near High Wycombe. Take the A404 from Amersham and they're on the double mini roundabouts when you enter Hazlemere. Been taking my cars there for a couple of years and all very good

www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk just moved to hemel from watford. Tony Barns is the only person I trust to balance my wheels (and do my geometry for that matter).

Was that when he was in Watford? He moved quite recently.

... And anyone know a good balancing outfit near Bedford? Tried all of the chains, and am fed up of having to go back twice. "honest, its perfect. Must be your suspension worn Guv". Willing to travel aways. Any suggestions very welcome

Hemel isn't that far away from Bedford for a good setup...

Just about to book my M5 in here for a pre 'Ring allignment, so fingers crossed. Will post after to see how it went.

Right, went to Hemel Discount Tyre & Wheel, and can highly recommend them.

Was sat down during and after the tracking to explain what they had found and what they were going to do and if I was happy with it. First time for me with a tyre outfit so top marks.

Price came in under quote as well, so happy to give the thumbs up.
